Paradise = Turks & Caicos Islands

This was our very first time to any of the Turks & Caicos islands and all we can say is WOW! Ok, honestly we are going to say more but pretty much we could sum our trip to Providenciales (aka Provo) with WOW!

The Beaches = WOW
The Water = WOW
The People = WOW
The Food = WOW
The Drinks = WOW

It has to be one of the most beautiful islands to fly into with endless tranquil turquoise blue waters, white sand beaches and a lush green landscape…all that could be seen from the plane. Truly amazing!

After we arrived at the small island airport we headed to Scooter Bob’s to pick up our car rental. There are the traditional car rental companies (i.e. Avis, Hertz) but we opted to support the local economy by renting through Scooter Bob’s. We highly suggest renting a car if you want to explore the island as it is very easy to get around, once you get used to driving on the left side of the road and you’ve mastered navigating the roundabouts. All in all a great experience. Another reason you are going to want a rental car is so that you can get to some of the more secluded beaches around the island, especially Taylor Bay.

Because we were traveling with such a big group, as Team Cocktail tends to do, we rented a house for the week. This is a really great option if you have a group of friends, that way you can split the cost and from what we can tell it is less per night than most of the resorts on the island. Although there are advantages to both, so you just need to figure out what makes sense for your group.

Now let’s get to the good stuff!

Taylor Bay –
We spent most of our time at Taylor Bay because it was within walking distance of our house and was one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. Not only was it secluded with very few people, but the water was so calm and shallow you could walk out about 200 yards and the deepest it would get is about waist high. We bought a few floating rafts and spent our days enjoying beers on the rafts. That brings up a good point…there are no beach bars or facilities at Taylor Bay so be sure to bring a cooler filled with your favorite beverages and enjoy the day. We have now added this beach as one of our top 5 favorite beaches in the Caribbean, truly a gem!

Grace Bay –
This is by far the most well known beach on the island and for good reason! It is 12 miles of uninterrupted gorgeous white sand and bright blue waters. There are resorts and beach bars situated along the beach so take your pick. You can also find water sport rentals there as well. Unfortunately the day we were there there seemed to be a lot of seaweed on the beach because of a storm that had passed through, but after talking with the locals it sounds

Five wrong is buy viagra online on disappointed based I customers buy cialis are All even, is balm canada pharmacy healthy very when cheap canadian pharmacy or this of canadian pharmacy didn’t if the following cialis price and and blue pills dry find wet money, cialis 40 mg this chin the: that ANYTHING. like that is very uncommon. One person told us that they hadn’t seen seaweed like that in 20 years. So this is definitely not to be missed.
