#TNI Cocktail Concoctions

Last week during #TNI there was a request for Team Cocktail to create a special #TNI cocktail.  So, that got us thinking.  What would a #TNI cocktail be composed of.  Well we had an idea.  Let’s think about all those nights your traveling, staying in a hotel and just want to stay in and have a drink.  I mean it is Travelers Night In after all.

So we came up with a few different ideas based on what you can find in your hotel.  Now keep in mind, we assume that every savvy traveler travels with or purchases their favorite liquor to have on hand at the hotel. Assuming that you don’t have a mini bar.  At least that’s how Team Cocktail rolls.

So grab your favorite liquor, get some quarters for the vending machine, mix and enjoy! Today we’re going with one of our island favorites…RUM!

Makeshift Mojito
1 part – Rum
2 part – 7up/Sprite/Soda Water (whatever is available)
2 Lime Lifesavers
2 Wintergreen Mint Lifesavers

Put all 4 Lifesavers in the ice bucket liner and pound to a fine powder.  We suggest using a glass, tv remote or anything heavy.  Mix Lifesavers and rum in the glass. Stir until mostly dissolved. Add 7Up & Ice.  Stir and enjoy!

Makeshift Mojito

Rum Punchy
1 part – Rum
2-3 parts – Hawaiian Fruit Punch

Add Ice, stir & enjoy!  If you like a little fizz to your cocktails we suggest adding an ounce or splash of 7Up.  This is also known as a Rum Punchy Fizz!

Now of course you can always do the old standby’s.  Rum & Cocktail, Rum & Ice…always great options when you’re in a pinch.

We hope you enjoy our #TNI drinks of the week.  For all of our travel friends out there…CHEERS!
