Ahh…the beauty of a great fitting hat. Nothing beats it right? Ever since I was little I have been somewhat obsessed with hats, much like RumShopRyan is obsessed with flip flops. So when we decided to add hats to our website I was very particular in the hats that we would choose. We went through dozen and dozen of samples including velcro enclosure, flex fit, fitted, adjustable, buckle, etc…and up until we found the mesh hat that we now carry nothing lived up to my expectations of how a hat should fit, feel, and look.
I have found that hats are like a fine wine, they definitely get better with age. I don’t know how many hours I have spent in my lifetime trying to dirty up a new hat and trying to make it soft enough to wear.
The one thing that I have noticed about our mesh hats is that they already have that worn in, soft feeling that I spent hours trying to achieve in my earlier, less wise years. So you’re just not buying a hat, but you are saving priceless hours that you would be wasting on breaking in another hat. Now you can spend those hours drinking rum! You’re thinking, “Of course he is saying this, he is trying to sell them,” that may be true, but I put my hat wearing, “expert” reputation behind them and if you have an issue with one of our hats just let me know at trey@teamcocktail.com.
Well we have found a new line of hats that we think people will also enjoy. We are introducing our stretch fit hats. The best thing about these hats is that with the stretch in the headband they feel awesome, and due to the stretch they fit almost all noggins! They are available in two sizes, S/M and L/XL. So if the mesh trucker style hat isn’t your shot of tequila then go ahead and try our newest style. Once again I believe that you won’t be disappointed.
So if all your Team Cocktail shirts are in the wash, well you can still sport TC by wearing one of our awesome hats. Trust us your head will thank you.
Cheers!
Trey

My mother likes to say I was born in a hat, and it’s true that I’m seldom without one. A baseball cap needs to be soft, with good give around the band, full enough that it fits your head well, but not so much that you look like you’re playing dress up in Dad’s closet. I have about thirty different caps in my closet to choose from… looks like I may be adding 31 here soon! Cheers!
Glad to see another hat enthusiast! If you like adjustable hats I would definitely recommend the mesh trucker hat as it is super soft, so it feels like you’ve already broken it in. If you like stretch fit then I would recommend our other hat, both are really comfortable and are low profile. I have one in every color! Cheers!
Thanks for the mention TC! Yes, flip flops are my addiction, but hats aren’t to far behind. I have a closet full. Have to protect this bald head from the hot south Florida sun! My TC hat is right on the top of the stack and has seen many good beach days.
Cheers!
Diggin the new lids. Will be picking up a few shortly.
I am with you though Trey, my collection is somewhere around 40 or so total hats, but like you said, its the broken-in-fits-perfectly-dont-have-to-worry-about-it type of hats that get the most head time.
