National Beer Day! A day we can all drink to!

I bet you were thinking, isn’t everyday National Beer Day?…Well it can be, but technically today, April 7th, is the official “National Beer Day.” Talk about news that can make your normally lame Tuesday seem a whole lot better! If you are interested in why today is National Beer Day, then keep reading. If you don’t care and are just looking for an excuse to crack open a beer, then now is your chance to shut your computer, run to your fridge, and grab a cold one.

National Beer Day is a celebration of the Cullen-Harrison Act being signed into law by FDR. He signed it on March 22nd, 1933 and the law went into effect on April 7th, 1933. This law allowed people to buy, sell, and drink beer for the first time since the start of Prohibition. The beer had to be < 3.2%, but either way it was a glorious day in our history!

We’ve decided to do a little celebrating of our own. In honor of National Beer Day, our entire site is 20% OFF! Just enter promo code: BEERDAY at checkout.

Now that you know this little tidbit, it would be 100% appropriate for you to go around your workplace and begin setting up an after work Happy Hour at your nearest watering hole, after all this unofficial holiday only happens once a year!
